Peschiera del Garda is a beautiful and characteristic town, best known for its medieval bastion fortress, which was ruled by the Austrians until the 19th century. Its origins date back to ancient Roman times.

It is located at the bottom of the Veronese seacoast, 28 km from Verona, at a point where the waters of Lake Garda flow into the Emissary Mincio, and is surrounded by canals everywhere.

The historic center with its characteristic star-shape, rich in shops, pubs, bars and restaurants, is surrounded by fascinating walls and completely surrounded by water.

The hinterland with its moraine hills, vineyards, olive groves, cypresses and the pretty Mincio River is also a great destination.
